Peggy (Polyxeni) Manoli is an Assistant Professor of “Sociolinguistic Approach to Multilingual Education” at the Department of Educational Sciences and Early Childhood Education, University of Patras, Greece. At the same time, she has been a Coordinator/Tutor at the MA program “Language Education for Refugees and Migrants” at the Hellenic Open University. She holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics from the University of Thessaly, a MA in Applied Linguistics, and a BA in English Language and Literature from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has participated in many research programs including socially vulnerable populations, such as Roma, refugees/migrants, at the University of Thessaly and Hellenic Open University. Her research interests focus on language education for socially vulnerable populations, language teaching in early childhood education, multiliteracies, and educational material designing for refugee/migrant education.
