Νικολάου Χαρά

Chara Nikolaou is a PhD candidate at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with a research title:

“Political socialization of primary school students: contribution to the formation of political identity by utilizing the Curriculum”. She is a graduate of the Department of Philology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, specializing in Medieval and Modern Greek philology. Her postgraduate studies are on the gender dimension in new working and educational environments in the information society. Her research interests are part of the sociology and pedagogy field, with a special interest in the political socialization of male and female students at the school levels in combination with the teaching framework that exists in the school’s curricular programs.

In the scientific field, he has participated in research projects, in writing chapters in collective volumes and has attended conferences in the domestic and international arena.

Her work experience is in the field of education as a literature teacher in secondary education and she is also a scientific associate Member of Parliament in the Greek Parliament.
